Chase Extends DashPass Benefit for Most Cardholders

Chase cardmembers are eligible for exclusive benefits on both DoorDash and Caviar when an eligible Chase credit card is added to either account. The benefit varies, based on which Chase credit card is added to your account.

DashPass is DoorDash’s subscription service which gets you unlimited deliveries with a $0 delivery fee and reduced service fees on eligible orders over $12. It normally costs $9.99 per month.

Chase Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Preferred cardholders and most other co-brand cards get free DashPass for one year,. That includes Southwest, Marriott, United, Disney, IHG, British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia, and World of Hyatt credit cards. Chase Freedom cards get this benefit for only three months.

If you have more than one of the eligible cards, you can add a new one to your account once your previous free period is about to end. That will get you another year or another three months.

The last date to enroll for this benefit was originally set for December 31, 2021. But Chase has extended the enrollment period by another three months. You now have until March 31, 2022.

Exclusive DashPass benefits are available when using your Chase credit card as the default payment method with your activated DashPass subscription. You won’t be able to access exclusive DashPass benefits if you remove your eligible Chase credit card as your default payment method.
