Chase 100% Transfer Bonus to IHG
Chase has launched a new transfer bonus for Ultimate Rewards cardmembers. This latest offers is a 100% bonus for transferring points to the IHG One Rewards program. While a 100% bonus sounds like a great deal, that’s not the case with this promotion.
The normal ratio for transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to IHG One Rewards is 1:1. So with this added bonus you will get a ratio of 1:2. That means that for every 1,000 Chase points you will receive 2,000 IHG points.
Now take a second and thing about how much you would value Chase points. Most people would says at least 1.5 cents per point, and even higher. But even if your number is more than 1 cent per point, then this promotion sucks. That’s because you can often buy IHG points at 0.5 cents each during their frequent points sales.
The only case where this promotion might make sense, is if you just need a few thousands more IHG points. Those sale don’t usually get you a 0.5 cents per point price for purchasing a small amount of points.
This promotion started today and you need to transfer points by September 4, 2025 if you want to get the 100% bonus.
