Capital One Savings Bonus

Capital One 360 has an offer for new 360 Performance Savings accounts where you can earn up to $1,000 bonus. On top of that you also earn 1.90% APY on your balance. You do need yo make a large deposit to get this $1,000 Capital One savings bonus.

- Add new money within 10 days of account opening (Initial Funding Period).
- Earn a $200 bonus with a balance of $10,000–$149,999.99, or

Capital One will deposit the bonus money into your account within 60 days of completing the above conditions. Once it’s deposited, the funds will be available immediately.
Eligibility

If you have or had an open savings and/or money market account as a primary or secondary account holder (excludes CD) with Capital One on or after January 1, 2016, you’re ineligible for the bonus.

Guru’s Wrap-Up
The $1,000 bonus for the 360 Performance Savings account is the highest we have seen by far. Previous bonuses required $50K for a $500 bonus. You can do multiple deposits, it doesn’t have to be $10K or $150K in one shot. But it has to be done within 10 days, and you need to keep the money in the account for 90 days. This is a savings account that earns 1.90% APY on all balances.
If you go for the $1,000 bonus with a $150K deposit, it works out to a 2.66% APY for 90 days. Add that to the 1.90% that the account earns, and you get 4.56% APY. That is much better that you can do with most savings accounts. The $200 bonus with a $10K deposit gives you an even better return, 8.00%+ 1.90%.
