Get Up to 20K Miles for Capital One Credit Cards Referrals
Referring friends and family members for Capital One credit cards has been an option in the past. But referral bonuses came in the form of statement credit, either $100 or $200 per referral. Now Capital One cardholders are seeing a new type of referral bonus where you can earn miles instead.
The first step is to sign in to your account to get your personal referral link. Then share that link with friends. If they’re a new Capital One cardholder and get approved using your link, you’ll earn a bonus for each friend approved. You can also find your link in the mobile app. Look for the Refer a Friend tile on your account details page. The referral bonuses that are showing up are:
- 10,000 miles per referral (up to 50,000 miles per year)
- 20,000 miles per referral (up to 50,000 miles per year)
If you’re a Quicksilver, Savor, SavorOne, Venture, VentureOne or Platinum cardholder in good standing, you may qualify for the card referral program. If any of your accounts are closed or in default, you won’t be eligible for the referral program. If you have multiple Capital One cards that are eligible for the referral program, the total combined amount of the bonus you can receive in a calendar year is 50,000 miles, $500, or a combination of the two not exceeding $500 in value.
Once you send someone your referral link, it’s up to them to complete the process. They’ll need to apply using the link that you sent in order for you to get the bonus. Due to the confidential nature of the credit approval process, we won’t disclose any information to you about who has applied.
