DEAD / Business and First Class flights, under $80 from Europe to US

Check out this post by View from the Wing who wrote about an amazing deal going on. Business and First Class flights, from Europe to US for $80 or less. You may need to experiment with a few booking sites to find one that will allow you to use a US credit card, and get this offer which is priced in Danish Kroner.

Check out that article for detailed info. Dans Deals first broke out the news and then Business Insider published it as well. Deal of the year without a doubt.

The deal seems dead. United caught on and now they are pricing their tickets is USD and not in Kroner, and also at the regular price and not at the insanely low prices advertised above. Denmark is also off the list of countries when you enter an address at Hopefully they will honor the tickets that were already bought by those lucky few.

Sad news today from United. They announced that they will not honor short lived deal that we wrote about yesterday, where some were able to get a first or business class ticket for less than $80.

In their statement, United says that it is voiding the bookings of several thousand individuals who were attempting to take advantage of an error a third-party software provider made when it applied an incorrect currency exchange rate, despite United having properly filed its fares. Most of these bookings were for travel originating in the United Kingdom, and the level of bookings made with Danish Kroner as the local currency was significantly higher than normal during the limited period that customers made these bookings.

  4. I dont get it tho, what do u book? what date? from where to where? how can you just book a flight without planning it at all? and you cant book from us so you still have to buy a ticket to London for example at full price. seems pointless to me, unless you were really that lucky that you were planning to do that exact flight that’s going for 80 bucks

    • Unfortunately, the news spread fast, which led to a large number of people signing up for it. These offers come up once in a while, but you have to be quick [and somewhat lucky]
