Amex Launches New Offers for Blue Business Cards
As many small business owners and employees continue to work from home and run their businesses virtually, American Express is tailoring new offers to suit their needs. American Express has launched two new welcome bonuses for the Blue Business Plus and Blue Business Cash credit cards. New Blue Business Plus and Blue Business Cash card members can earn up to $300 when they make eligible purchases with Dell Technologies, DocuSign and FedEx within their first three months. This offer will run through November 4, 2020.
Offers
Earn up to $300 back to boost your business. You can earn up to $100 in the form of statement credits at each of the following merchants after you make an eligible purchase on your new Card within the first 3 months of Card Membership:
- Dell Technologies
- DocuSign
- FedEx
Any eligible spend up to $100 will be rewarded in statement credits (e.g., if a Card Member spends $20 at one, they will get $20 back).
Both cards also come with 0.0% intro APR on purchases for 12 months from the date of account opening, then a variable rate based on your creditworthiness and other factors at account opening.
Blue Business Plus Card
- Get 2X points on your first $50,000 in purchases each calendar year and 1X points thereafter.
- $0 Annual Fee
Blue Business Cash Card
- Get 2% cash back on your first $50,000 in purchases each calendar year and 1% thereafter.
- $0 Annual Fee
Guru’s Wrap-up
This is an interesting bonus and if you really need to spend money on all three services, then it works out to $300 in cash that you save. But not everyone will need to spend $100 at DocuSign and probably not at Fedex either. These are solid business cards though, and earn 2X points or 2% cashback on all purchases, up to $50K per year. These new $300 welcome bonuses are also showing up through referrals, so that could be a better route is you have someone who can refer you.
