Barclays Aviator Business card offer

Earn 80,000 Miles with the Barclays AAdvantage Aviator Business Card

Barclays AAdvantage Aviator Business Mastercard has an increased signup bonus of 80,000 miles. This is is the highest bonus we have seen, so it’s another chance to get more AAdvantage miles. I value American Airlines miles at about 1.2 cents each, which would make the value of this welcome offer about $900 after paying the $95 annual fee. Let’s check out the details of this Barclays Aviator Business card offer.

While this Barclays Aviator Business card offer is great, the card itself doesn’t have a lot to offer. The only bonus categories where you earn 2x are American Airlines purchases and select telecom, office supply purchases and car rentals.

Applying for the Card

Offer Page

Barclay will usually only approve you for a card every 6 months. If you have a Barclay card, is bet to put some spend on it before applying for another card. They don’t like dormant cardholders. There’s no real limit on the number of cards you can have with Barclay.

They also have a 6/24 rule. That means that they might not approve you if you’ve had more than 6 new cards in the last 24 months. I say might because we’re not sure if it still applies, and even before it was never really a hard rule.

Barclays business cards don’t report to personal credit reports.

Now they also added the following language:

In addition, you may not be eligible for this offer if, at any time during our relationship with you, we have cause, as determined by us in our sole discretion, to suspect that the account is being obtained or will be used for abusive or gaming activity (such as, but not limited to, obtaining or using the account to maximize rewards earned in a manner that is not consistent with typical consumer activity and/or multiple credit card account applications/openings).

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This Barclays Aviator Business card offer is the best we have ever seen. As mentioned above, you should be able to get a value of about $900 in the first year after paying the annual fee.

You earn 50,000 miles after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first 90 days, and then another 30,000 miles after spending a total of $6,000 on purchases within the first 12 months. That’s a large amount of spend for a welcome offer, but you have a full year to complete it.

This is a business card, so there’s a good chance that it won’t report to your personal credit report, and won’t affect your Chase 5/24 status.
