There was recently an effort from Bank of America and Citi has had its own premium offering for a while as well.
Now it is Barclaycard’s turn to jump in the premium market or credit cards. Doctor of Credit broke the news and Frequent Miler also has some additional information about the card.

Guru’s Wrap-Up
There’s not a whole lot of information yet on this new credit card, but we should see some more details soon. It will be interesting to see what signup bonus they offer and also which airline transfer partners will be available. They already have partnerships with American Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue and Lufthansa so they might stick with those companies. Wyndham is also a possible partner.
