• Open a BreakFree Checking or Direct Checking Account
• Deposit of at least $200 within the first 30 days of opening.

You will receive a $100 bonus credited to your account within 30 days of account opening, provided you have met the $200 deposit requirement.

Eligibility

IA and AZ. Account needs to be opened in branch and they have 12 Central Iowa locations, two in Cedar Rapids and two in Phoenix.

To be eligible for the bonus, you must open a primary Max or primary Direct Checking Plus account in person at a branch. Limit one bonus per household.

Account holders must not have had a checking account with Bankers Trust in the last six months. Employees of Bankers Trust and/or its affiliates not eligible for bonus.

BreakFree Checking Account has no monthly maintenance fees with 12 or more debit card transactions**

Early closing fee of $50 will be charged if your account is closed within 12 months of opening.

The requirements to get the bonus are easy, but the downsides are that you need to go into a branch and you need to keep the account open for a year to avoid a $50 fee. And keeping the account fee-free monthly is a bit of a hassle, so it sounds like too much work for a $100 bonus.
