Amex Marriott Business Bonus Possible For Previous Amex SPG Business Cardholders
If you’ve had your eyes on the Amex Marriott Bonvoy Business card, there’s some new encouraging data points that could make more people eligible for a bonus. This is a business card that was released last year after the Marriott-SPG merger. But it was not considered a “new” product, as far signup bonuses go. This meant that people who has the SPG Business card or some Chase cards in the past, weren’t eligible.

SPG Business Card Might Not Matter
New data points show that you might be eligible for a bonus on the Amex Marriott Bonvoy Business cardĀ even if you have the SPG Business card in the past. This thread on r/churning has two data points showing that people have received the bonus. They had the SPG Business card two years and 4 years ago respectively.
This is very interesting, although probably not sure proof that you will get a bonus as these are very isolated cases.
