Yesterday was the last day for the 2 Free Nights offers on the Amex SPG cards. We weren’t sure what would happen after that offer ended, but Amex just brought back the previous offers with a 25K sign up bonus on both cards.

One interesting thing is that on the Amex SPG Business card application, there’s again a 12 month language. This was pointed out by MilesforMatt in a tweet. You can see the application page here through a direct link. Referral links don’t have the language.

Earlier this year Amex business cards were switched to once per lifetime, so hopefully this is not just a mistake but a hint of things to come. The language doesn’t show up on any other business cards or the personal Amex SPG card.

This might be a good time to apply for those who have had the business card previously but not in the last 12 months. It might be pulled at any time and it might even be a mistake from Amex, so make sure to take screenshots of your application in case they don’t award you the points.
