Amex Hilton Card Spending Bonus
Check your American Express Hilton Card account for an offer that can earn you some extra bonus for everyday spending. This is an offer that we have seen in the past and there are usually different versions.
Offers
- Get 3,000 additional Hilton Honors Bonus Points by using your enrolled Card to spend at least $1,5000+ in one or more transactions, up to 3 times during offer term. Must enroll by 2/18/2020 and spend on or before 3/3/2020.

- Get 7,000 additional Hilton Honors Bonus Points by using your enrolled Card to spend at least $1,5000+ in one or more transactions, up to 3 times during offer term. Must enroll by 2/18/2020 and spend on or before 3/3/2020.
- Get 10,000 additional Hilton Honors Bonus Points by using your enrolled Card to spend at least $1,5000+ in one or more transactions, up to 3 times during offer term. Must enroll by 2/18/2020 and spend on or before 3/3/2020.

Offer Terms
- If you reach the Purchase Requirement, the Hilton Honors Bonus Points will be credited to your Hilton Honors account 6-8 weeks after 3/3/2020
- Purchases may fall outside of the Purchase Period (and therefore not be eligible for the Bonus Points) in some cases, such as a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction. (For example, if you buy goods online, the purchase date may be the date the goods are shipped.)
- This offer is only available to the Basic Card Member; however, eligible purchases made by Additional Card Members will contribute to the Purchase Requirement.
- Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, balance transfers, cash advances, purchases of traveler’s checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or purchases of any cash equivalents.
- Eligible purchases to meet the Purchase Requirement are for goods and services minus returns and other credits.
- To receive the Hilton Honors Bonus Points, your Card Account must not be cancelled or past due at the time of fulfillment. American Express reserves the right to modify or revoke offer at any time.
- The Hilton Honors Bonus Points you may earn during the Purchase Period as part of this offer are in addition to any other Bonus Points you may get from using your Card.
Guru’s Wrap-up
Hilton Honors Credit Card from American Express already earns:
- 7X Hilton Honors Bonus Points for each dollar of eligible purchases charged directly with a hotel or resort within the Hilton Honors portfolio of brands
- 5X Hilton Honors Bonus Points for each dollar of eligible purchases at U.S. restaurants, U.S. supermarkets, and U.S. gas stations
- 3X Hilton Honors Bonus Points for all other eligible purchases on your Card
With this offer you would earn an extra 2X points on all spend, if you spend exactly $1,500. Or even better if you are targeted for one of the higher offers. Not a bad deal if you need more Hilton points, but 7X at supermarkets for example is still about 3% cashback with the low value that Hilton points have.
