American Express has a new targeted offer for the personal and business version of the Gold Delta Skymiles credit card. These are offers for 60,000 SkyMiles and a $50 credit, which we have often seen in the past, but there’s no lifetime restriction.

You need to have been targeted in order to qualify. Here’s the direct link to the offer. Log in with your SkyMiles credentials, in case you have missed the email. If you can’t log in, it means that you are not targeted.

Amex Lifetime Rule

American Express restricts you to just one sign up bonus per credit card product. That’s once per lifetime. Even if you previously had the card and didn’t receive a bonus (maybe during your pre-churning days), you won’t be eligible for a bonus on the same card. The restriction will be noted in the offer terms.

However this offer does not seem to have that language so that means that you are able to get the bonus even if you have had the card in the past. You should still check your own offer to make sure. Here’s what it looks like.

Both are very good offers, although not the best. The spending requirement is pretty easy and that’s huge for Amex signup bonuses nowadays since they’ve been cracking down on spending that is not allowed in the terms. But the best part of this offer is clearly the lack of the lifetime restriction which makes it possible to get the bonus again. I would strongly suggest you apply if you were targeted and have had the card in the past. These chances to get a second bonus on the same Amex card don’t come around often.
