Groupon has a deal for anyone looking to join Costco, offering a $45 Digital Costco Shop Card when you purchase a new one-year membership.
The regular Gold Star membership costs $65, but with the $45 Shop Card included, your effective first-year cost is just $20.
The same offer is also available for the Executive membership, which comes with additional rewards and benefits.
Costco Membership Deals
The $45 Shop Card isn’t an instant discount. You’ll pay the full membership price upfront and receive the Shop Card afterward.
Both memberships include access to Costco warehouses, Costco.com, member gas prices and a complimentary household membership card.

- Complete your purchase through Groupon.
- Create a Costco.com account using the same email address.
- Verify your new membership number in your Costco Wallet.
- Download the Costco app to access your $45 Digital Costco Shop Card.
The Shop Card should appear in your Costco Wallet within two weeks of successful signup.
