New Hilton Pay with Points Feature
Hilton today launched Pay with Points, a new feature that gives members the opportunity to use loyalty Points toward their bill through a fully digital check out experience.
The new Hilton Honors benefit enables members with Silver, Gold, Diamond or Diamond Reserve status to apply Points toward eligible hotel charges during Digital Check Out in the Hilton Honors App.
Pay with Points is completed by the guest, digitally, within the Hilton Honors App while at the hotel or on-the-go. During Digital Check Out, elite status members can now, for the first time, review their folio, choose from available Point redemption options and apply Points toward eligible charges. Members will be able to select their payment options through a Points slider directly in the Hilton Honors App before choosing whether and how many Points to redeem.
Pay with Points is currently available only at 150 participating hotels in the U.S.. The initial participating U.S. hotels are across all categories of Hilton’s portfolio, including luxury, lifestyle and resort properties. Eligible Hilton Honors members will be notified via pre-arrival email if the hotel is participating in the Pay with Points test.
The benefit is expected to expand to more than 800 hotels by the end of 2026, followed by a full rollout to more than 6,000 participating properties in the U.S. and Canada in early 2027. Availability and eligible redemption options may vary by property.
