Buy Hilton Honors Points With a 120% Bonus
Hilton Honors is back with another bonus for members who need to top off their accounts. And this one is the highest public offer we have seen, which makes sense after several devaluations over the last year.
Through November 21, 2026, members can get 120% bonus points when buying at least 5,000 Hilton Honors points. Hilton Honors points are now valued at at about 0.35 cents, so buying points only makes sense if you have a good redemption in mind, or need more points towards your next award stay.
Offer Details
Here are the main details:
- Get a 120% bonus when buying Hilton Honors points
- Minimum purchase: 5,000 points
- Offer ends November 21, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET
- Members can purchase up to 240,000 points during the promotion period
- Purchased points should post within 48 hours
- Purchased points are non-refundable and purchased points do not count toward elite status
What Does a 120% Bonus Mean?
With a 120% bonus, every 10,000 points you buy gets you another 12,000 bonus points.
For example:
- Buy 10,000 points and receive 22,000 total points
- Buy 50,000 points and receive 110,000 total points
- Buy 100,000 points and receive 220,000 total points
- Buy 240,000 points and receive 528,000 total points
At Hiltonโs usual purchase price of about 1 cent per point before the bonus, this works out to 0.45 cents per point after the 120% bonus.
Should You Buy Hilton Points?
Iโm not a fan of buying points, unless I really need points right away and I have no transfer options. You will never be able to buy points at a price thatโs better than the average valuation. If you need a big chunk of points, Hilton Honors credit cards will be your best and cheapest option. But buying points could make sense in some instances. If you just need a few thousand points towards a redemption you could transfer Membership Rewards points or go the buying route.
There are also plenty of properties where you can get a value of over 1 cent each for your Hilton Honors points. While you can get good valuation you would also have to consider if you would be willing to pay prices of over $1,000 a night in cash.
Booking Hilton stays with points does have some advantages that are worth taking into consideration. For every 5 nights booked with Hilton points, you get one of them for free. So if you book 5 nights at a 100K property, you will only pay 400K points. It’s also worth noting that Hilton Honors does not charge resort fees on stays booked using only points, and most hotel taxes are waived on award stays as well.
Guruโs Wrap-Up
Purchasing Hilton Honors points at 0.45 cents each is the best public offer we have seen. But even with this 120% bonus, you need to decide for yourself if it’s worth buying.
If you need more Hilton points, I would suggest looking at credit cards first. You can get some big welcome bonuses for cards like Hilton Aspire, Hilton Surpass, Hilton Business and even the no-fee Amex Hilton card.
If you do plan to buy Hilton Points with this promotion, don’t forget to go through a portal to earn cashback and use a card that earn at least 2% cash back. Points purchase processed through Points.com and does not count as travel.
