Increased Bonuses on Two HSBC Credit Cards
HSBC has bumped up the welcome offers on two of its U.S. credit cards, with bonuses now as high as 75,000 points.
The better offers are available on the HSBC Elite World Elite Mastercard and the HSBC Premier World Mastercard, and both require $4,000 in spending within the first three months. The increased bonuses are listed as available through January 15, 2027. One important thing to know is that both cards require an HSBC Premier relationship to apply. Let’s go over the details.
HSBC Elite: 75,000 Points
The better of the two offers is on the HSBC Elite World Elite Mastercard. You can earn:
- 75,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months
- $495 annual fee (no annual fee for authorized users)

HSBC says 75,000 points can be worth up to $900 toward travel booked through HSBC Travel.
The card earns:
- 5X points on eligible travel
- 2X points on dining and other travel
- 1X point on everything else
You also get up to $400 in annual travel credits (4 x $100 for $2K spend) for airfare, hotels and car rentals booked through HSBC Travel, Priority Pass lounge access for the cardholder and up to two guests, and up to $120 toward Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, TSA PreCheck by CLEAR or NEXUS once every 4.5 years.
HSBC points can also be transferred through the Rewards for Miles program to 11 airline and two hotel partners.

HSBC Premier: 60,000 Points
The increased offer being for the HSBC Premier World Mastercard is:
- 60,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months
- $95 annual fee

The card earns:
- 3X points on gas and groceries
- 2X points on travel
- 1X point on everything else
There are also some useful smaller perks, including up to $60 per year in streaming credits, Instacart+ benefits, Lyft credits, and up to $85 toward certain trusted-traveler programs.
Eligibility
- Both cards require an existing U.S. HSBC Premier checking relationship.
- HSBC also says customers who have opened the same credit card product within the last 36 months are not eligible for the welcome bonus.
