I just received an email with an offer from Hilton. It offered a 600,000 Hilton HHonors points bonus, so I had to click on it. I know that these points are probably the least valuable out there, but hey, I could get 600,000 of these.
What’s the catch? You have to spend around $8,000-$9,000 in order to get this bonus.
You get the bonus when you make a Hilton Grand Vacations Ownership Interest purchase, which is a timeshare. Purchases must be equal to at least 7,000 ClubPoints. Prices range from $8,940 – $377,300. You could look at this as buying Hilton points at three times their value and getting a free timeshare. And obviously I couldn’t put this in the title, because nobody would click it.
I guess it’s worth a look if you’re in the market for one of these timeshares. I’ve never purchased a timeshare myself, but let me know if this is a great deal or not.
Check out the offer page.
My wife and are both going to buy one so we can get 1.2 million HH points!
Nice ! 🙂
DH and I like going to TS presentations where they pay us cash but we’ve never been duped to buy them.
Maybe this deal will change your mind 🙂
