I just received an email from Capital One regarding an offer for $300 when opening a Business Checking and Savings account. It’s aimed at Capital One Spark Business credit card holders but it should be available to anyone who applies.
It reads, “Thank you for being a loyal Spark Business® Card customer. We have a special offer running in October for your business—when you sign up for both business checking and business savings, you’ll earn up to a $300 bonus.” It is actually $50 a month for 6 months.
The bad thing is that you have to go to a branch to open it. The good thing is that there’s no requirements to get the bonus, but you need to keep the accounts open for about 9 months.
To qualify to receive $50 for six months, customers must sign up between October 1, 2015, and October 31, 2015, for both of the following qualifying products:
- a business checking account (including Spark Business Cashback Checking, Spark Business Interest Checking, and Spark Business Unlimited Checking); and
- a Business Advantage Savings account
Previously opened accounts may be combined with any qualifying product to receive this bonus offer. Speak to your banker for details.
All accounts (including your current Spark Business Card) must be open and remain in good standing at all times to receive the $50 credit. The first credit will be deposited to customers’ business checking account in January 2016.
Limit one promotional bonus offer per customer.
Keep in mind that there’s a minimum balance of $250 required to open account. Also monthly cycle charge of $3 will be assessed if balance drops below $300.
