U.S. News & World Report released yesterday its top picks for Travel Rewards Programs. This is an annual report that includes 28 airline and hotel loyalty programs to help travelers easily identify programs with the most perks.
There’s a new name this year on top of the Best Airline Rewards Programs. Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan took the title for the first time. As for the Best Hotel Rewards category Marriott Rewards is the winner for the third year in a row.
“Our rankings highlight the programs that make it easy to earn free flights or hotel stays and offer plenty of reward options and perks that travelers value, such as upgrades, free checked bags and priority boarding access”, says Liz Weiss, travel editor for U.S. News.
