Wyndham Rewards has launched a new status match offer, giving member the opportunity to enjoy the perks of GOLD, PLATINUM, or DIAMOND level. There are several good matching option that will give your Wyndham Rewards Elite status for 90 days. You can then keep your status by completing required stays within that period.

Keep You Status After 90 Days
- Gold: After you’re matched, stay 1 qualifying night in 90 days to keep your status.
- Platinum: After you’re matched, stay 4 qualifying nights in 90 days to keep your status.
- Diamond: After you’re matched, stay 10 qualifying nights in 90 days to keep your status.
Wyndham Rewards Status Match Terms
- Each Wyndham Rewards Gold, Platinum and Diamond Member Level obtained pursuant to these Status Match Terms will expire ninety (90) days after the date of the applicable Member’s Status Match verification email (the date of such email, hereinafter, such Member’s “Effective Date”), unless, prior to the expiration of such ninety (90) day period, Member completes the applicable number of Qualifying Nights.
- In the event that Member completes the requisite number of Qualifying Night within their ninety (90) day period, his/her/their Awarded Level will remain in effect through December 31 of the calendar year following the calendar year in which such Qualifying Night(s) were completed.
About Wyndham Rewards
Wyndham Rewards boasts a total of more than 9,100 properties in its portfolio, across 95 countries. Those hotels are categorized in 19 separate brands within the program, including a couple of boutique and luxury options. Value wise, Wyndham Rewards points are probably worth about 1 cent each, but that can vary slightly, based on brand and specific property. Here's a quick look at how you can accumulate and use points:- When it comes to earning points through stays, you get 10 points for each dollar spent on qualifying nights, or 1,000 points, whichever is higher. “Qualifying nights” include paid nights with an average nightly rate of $25 or more per night. Elite members earn more. You get a 10% bonus as a Gold member, 15% for Platinum and 20% for Diamond. You can also earn points by using the Wyndham credit cards, or you can transfer points from Capital One miles to Wyndham Rewards at a 2:1.5 transfer ratio.
- Wyndham is a simple program for redeeming points. There are three tiers that cost 7,500, 15,000 or 30,000 points per night. There is no dynamic pricing or peak and no-peak season variations. Wyndham also gives members the option to combine points with cash. You will need 1,500, 3,000, or 6,000 points plus cash to book these stays. You can also redeem points at Wyndham Vacation Clubs, Caesars Entertainment destinations, Vacasa bookings and by transferring to 10 transfer partners, nine of which are airline frequent flyer programs.

This is a generous promotion for those looking for Wyndham Rewards elite status. You can easily match to Wyndham Diamond from Marriott Gold or Hilton Gold which you earn through credit cards. You can then complete the required stays within that 90 day period to extend it through the end of next year.
Wyndham Rewards Diamond status gives you some valuable perks if you plan to stay at Wyndham properties. But it is also popular because you can match to Caesars Rewards. But the terms now state that you can only do so with “earned” Wyndham Rewards status. So most likely you will not be able to match to Caesars Rewards if you earn Wyndham status through this promotion.
