Wendy’s Launches a Rewards Program

Wendy’s often has some sweet deals through its mobile app, such as a Free Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant with mobile purchase. But now the fast food chain has added a new loyalty program called Wendy’s Rewards, which will allow members nationwide to cash in points earned on purchases for free nuggets, burgers, salads and other items. Wendy’s will continue to offer coupons in its app, which is available for Android and Apple devices.

For every $1 spent, customers receive 10 points that can be redeemed for free food and drinks within one year. Points can be earned via orders made on the Wendy’s app, or customers can scan their QR code at the register or drive-thru in stores. The rewards include a 150-point small Frosty milkshake, a 450-point Breakfast Baconator sandwich and a 700-point salad.

For a limited time, rewards members can get double points on their first order. Keep in mind that orders placed with third-party delivery companies including DoorDash and Uber do not qualify for Wendy’s Rewards points at this time. As for gift cards, you can use them for your purchases and still earn rewards points. But you will not earn any points when you purchase gift cards.
