A $2.67 million class action settlement has been reached over allegations that U.S. Bank placed unwanted calls and texts to consumers about mortgages and/or home equity loans. If you received a Notice in the mail, it is because, according to U.S. Bank’s records, you may have received one or more Automatic Calls from U.S. Bank: (1) in connection with a U.S. Bank Residential Mortgage Loan Account between August 7, 2014 and December 31, 2017; or (2) in connection with a U.S. Bank Home Equity Loan between February 19, 2015 and December 31, 2017.
Class Members can make up to two claims — one for a U.S. Bank call or text they received about a home mortgage and one for a call or text about a home equity loan.
Claims can be submitted online, by phone, or by mail. To make a claim, Class Members must provide their claim ID number which was sent to you by mail if you’re eligible, or a phone number that will be checked for eligibility right away on the site.
The deadline for Class Members to object to or opt out of the U.S. Bank TCPA class action settlement is June 13, 2019.
