Uber Eats Now Lets You Pick Up Your Own Food with No Fee
Uber Eats is finally letting you go pickup your own food. This new option doesn’t have an extra fee besides what you’re paying for your food.
The new feature was launched nationwide Friday. This was first tested in San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas and Austin, Texas, prior to the roll-out. I like this option as I often order from places around me, or when I’m heading home. So I can easily stop by the place and pick it up myself, avoiding the extra fees.
You should see the option near the top of the screen once you open the app. Most of Uber Eats’ rivals such as DoorDash, Grubhub, Postmates and Delivery.com, already offer the ability to pickup orders, besides the delivery option.
If you do not have an account, you can also use promo code eats-enIz2ue to get $5 off your first order. Check out all food delivery deals here.
