Enrolling for TSA Pre✓ just got a lot easier.  IdentoGO, the enrollment provider for TSA Pre✓® is opening 50 centers in Staples retail stores in 2018, with plans for further expansion next year.

TSA Pre✓® is a great service for those who travel frequently. It allows trusted travelers to breeze through airport security by keeping on their jacket, belt and shoes, while electronics and 3-1-1 compliant liquids stay packed in bags! TSA says that In August 2018, 94% of TSA Pre✓^® passengers waited less than 5 min.

Signing up for TSA PreCheck is not always the easiest task tho. Most enrollment centers are located in airports or government buildings so it could takes weeks or month to schedule an interview. With the new Staples locations the task should become much quicker. The process involves a 10 minute, in person appointment that includes a background check and fingerprinting. It costs $85 to enroll in the program for five years.

How does TSA Pre✓® work?

If you’re eligible and approved for the TSA Pre✓® program, you will be given a Known Traveler Number “KTN” to use when making flight reservations. KTNs can also be saved in an airline or travel agency profile. Participating airlines will print a TSA Pre✓® indicator on your boarding pass. When you arrive at the airport, look for signs for the TSA Pre✓® lanes and present your boarding pass and Government-issued ID to the Travel Document Checker. Children ages 12 and under may join you in the TSA Pre✓® lane.
