Southwest Sale, One Way Fares Starting From $50

Southwest has been flying for 50 years and is celebrating this month with a sale. You can finds lots of fares starting from $50 one way. This promotion runs through the end of the month, so there’s no rush to book. Just make sure you purchase by February 28. The low fares are valid for travel within the continental U.S. between Feb. 9 through May 26, 2021, but a 21-day advance purchase is required. For travel to/from Hawaii, Puerto Rico and international destinations, you can only book through May 20.

To book flights, check out the promotion page.  The lowest fares will be between Southwest hubs, for weekday travel. You can book $50 one way, or $100 roundtrip flights between Atlanta and Nashville, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Baltimore and Boston, and more. There are also more options for $54 and $58 such as NYC to Ft. Lauderdale or Los Angeles to Miami.

Seats and days are limited, so book tickets as soon as possible. While the tickets are non-refundable, you can use the cost of the ticket toward future travel on Southwest Airlines. You just need to cancel your reservations at least ten minutes prior to departure.

From New York, I don’t see any fares listed at $50. But you can fly to Ft. Lauderdale for $54, Miami for $58, Baltimore $67 and many more options for $70 or more.

If you are looking for international flights, you can find nonstop flights from Houston to Cancun from $175 and Orlando to Montego Bay, Jamaica from $153.
