Air Italy/Meridiana has some good prices available for travel from New York City to Naples with a stop in Milan each way. There’s availability in September and October of 2018.
If you want to squeeze in a quick visit to Milan there’s also an option for a longer layover. You can book directly on the Air Italy website, but hurry because there’s not many seats left.
