NY Staples Stores Will No Longer Sell Amazon Gift Cards
If you are in New York and looking to purchase Amazon gift cards at your local Staples store, you might be in for a surprise. I visited one store two days ago and there found no Amazon gift cards.
I just assumed they were sold out, but that’s not the case. Doctor of Credit reports that Staples has asked all New York stores to remove Amazon gift cards by July 1st, 2024.
It looks like it is just New York for now, as I have seen no mentions of this in other states. I was in New Jersey on the same day and they did have plenty of Amazon gift cards available.
While this is not huge blow for New Yorkers, it does remove an option of earning 5X in valuable rewards for Amazon purchases.
