After years of construction, a new look outside JetBlue’s Logan Airport terminal

Boston Logan International Airport hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday to open the new Terminal C canopy and upper deck entrance. The terminal is home to JetBlue and any passengers who have traveled with the airline over the last decade may recall what the old canopy looked like, which blocked most natural nights even on the brightest of days.

The two-year project added high-efficiency elevators to the terminal; increased curb space for passenger drop-offs and pickups; and added new lanes for better traffic flow.

Gunmen on jet skis open fire at Cancun resort as shootings in region surge

Tourists at a four-star resort in Cancun were forced to run for their lives as gunmen on jet skis stormed the beach and opened fire.

The shooting Tuesday at the Oasis Palm resort is just the latest in a rash of gunplay in the region that had Mexican authorities last month deploy a 1,500-strong National Guard force.

In the latest incident, five men in military uniforms converged on the “family-friendly” resort and fired about 20 shots, according to reports.
