Ultra-Premium Delta Card in the Works
According to a leak from someone at Delta, a more premium version above American Express’ Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Card is currently in the works. There is also buzz around the Amex Platinum Card getting a full makeover later this year.
This leak is from the same tipster that flagged Delta’s Medallion Program and SkyClub access changes in 2023.
Considering the bank’s top travel cards are already close to $700 in annual fees per year, it’s likely that this new Delta co-branded card will exceed that of the updated Amex Platinum Card (or match it). Details on the exact annual fee increase on this new ultra-premium Delta card remains to be seen.
