[Expired] Got Any Leftover Foreign Currency? Trade it For a McDonald’s Burger Today

McDonald’s in pushing their new Worldwide Favorites menu with a promotion that could finally take care of that spare change you always have left over from your travels abroad. I’m sure most readers are also world travelers and if you’ve had to exchange money abroad, there’s a good chance that you might have brought some back with you to the states. Now that change could get you the new menu items at McDonald’s.

This Thursday, June 6 between 2 and 5 p.m. local time, give the McDonald’s cashier any foreign currency and they will give you an item from its Worldwide Favorites roster. It could a peso, some Euro cents, or anything else for that matter.

There are four of these international, limited-time menu options:

  • Stroopwafel McFlurry (The Netherlands): Vanilla soft serve with a caramel swirl and chopped Dutch Daelmans Stroopwafel caramel waffle cookie pieces.
  • Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger (Spain): A quarter pound of fresh beef, thick cut Applewood smoked bacon, smoky McBacon Sauce, Gouda cheese and onions served on a toasted sesame seed bun.
  • Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich (Canada): Grilled or crispy white meat chicken, tomato & herb sauce, mozzarella cheese, onions, lettuce and Roma tomatoes on a toasted artisan roll.
  • Cheesy Bacon Fries (Australia): Fries topped with cheddar cheese sauce and chopped Applewood-smoked bacon.

  1. Got the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich ($5.60) for a €0.05 coin I had left from a trip to NL. Wife got a McFlurry ($2.50) for a €0.05 coin. Worth price paid. Thanks for the heads up.
