Lyft Riders Can Earn 5x/10x Points with Chase Cards
Update: The increased earning rates for Lyft rides were set to expire a the end of March but have now been extended for three more years, through March 2025. The Lyft Pink benefit has not been extended.
Chase and Lyft have teamed up to offer extra rewards when you use Chase credit cards for Lyft rides. I already mentioned the 10X earning rate as a new benefit for the Chase Sapphire card. But looks like the partnership will bring extra earnings to all Chase branded cards. Beginning Jan 12, millions of cardmembers across Chase-branded credit cards can earn additional points or cash back, as well as an enhanced Lyft experience with Lyft Pink when they use eligible Chase cards on their Lyft accounts, through March 2022.
Chase Sapphire Preferred®, Chase Freedom®, Freedom Unlimited®, Freedom Student® and Ink cardmembers will receive 5x total Ultimate Rewards® points or 5% cash back on Lyft rides. In addition to these benefits and exclusively for Chase Sapphire Reserve, cardmembers will earn 10x total points on Lyft rides and each account will get one free year of Lyft Pink, our membership program that offers 15% off car rides, priority airport pickups, relaxed cancellations, and more. This can be stacked with other programs such as Delta miles, or Freebird app.

- 1 year of complimentary Lyft Pink membership per account (business profile is not eligible)

How to Earn
Getting started is a breeze:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the Lyft app downloaded.
- Set your eligible Chase card as your default payment method.
- Earn on rides through March 2022.
To activate the Lyft Pink membership, set your Chase Sapphire Reserve card as the default payment method in the Lyft app (not available for business profiles) by March 2022 and in-app messaging will guide eligible cardmembers through the complimentary enrollment. See more info here.
