JetBlue Removes $1,000 Cap on ‘Pay Yourself Back’
JetBlue cardholders can redeem JetBlue points for flights, or a statement credit. The latter is not a great option, but it’s good to be aware that the option is there.
You can redeem TrueBlue points to “pay yourself back” for purchases of $25 or more, made within the last 90 days of your credit card. Redemptions start at 3,333 points, for a $25 statement credit.
If you crunch the numbers, that’s only a value of 0.75 cent per point. That’s about half the value you can get through flight redemptions.
Until now there was a $1,000 limit on Points Payback statement credits. But effective November 14, 2024, the $1,000 limit on Points Payback statement credits has been removed.
I doubt this makes much of a difference to anyone, but I have nothing better to do today, so there you have it.
If you want to add more JetBlue TrueBlue points to your account, the JetBlue Plus card currently has a 80,000 points bonus in the app.
