Update: I think all 21,000 Pasta Passes sold in a few seconds. However they’re partnering with eBay to auction 21 additional Pasta Passes, so if you really had your heart set on it, you can still bid for one here. Olive Garden will donate 100% of all proceeds to Feeding America, with a minimum guaranteed donation of $21,000, to fight hunger in local communities.
Olive Garden is bringing back its $100 all-you-can-eat-for-seven-weeks deal, aiming for the same buzz it generated last time. They will go on sale their website Thursday at 2 p.m. ET. The link to the sale page will be available here at 1:30 PM ET.
The passes entitle the bearer to as much protein-topped pasta and soda as they want until Nov. 9. The pasta can be topped with chicken, shrimp or the other meat options available to customers paying regular prices for their meals.
Last year, the online promotion that’s developed a cult-like following ended almost as fast as it began. That’s because the 2,000 passes sold out in less than a second. Yes, you read right. Less than one second. Somehow there at least two lucky Olive Garden fans that claim they were able to score more than one pass.
This year they’re offering 21,00 passes.
