IRS Will Push Tax Filing Deadline to July 15
Just three days ago, the deadline for paying your taxes was pushed back 90 days. Now the deadline to file your taxes is being pushed back as well. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Friday that the IRS will move the national income tax filing day ahead to July 15. That’s three months after the usual deadline of April 15th.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin announced the latest move in the government’s emergency response via Twitter.
At @realDonaldTrump’s direction, we are moving Tax Day from April 15 to July 15. All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties.

If you expect to receive a refund you should still file your taxes as soon as possible. If you expect to pay, then the later the better. and now you have an extra three months to file and pay what you owe.
