Instacart Scraps Pickup Fees
Instacart made a notable change today for those who are willing to pick up their orders.
You will no longer pay pickup fees or service fees for pickup orders. And no tipping required. This makes it easier to use Chase credits for Instacart purchases, where select cardholders get up to $15 per month.
It’s worth noting that the terms state that this change doesn’t apply to all retailers. So you just have to check your favorite stores and see if they are eligible for free pickups.
How to Order Pickup
- Select a merchant
- Select “Pickup” with the toggle
- Schedule a time that’s convenient for you
- When your order’s ready, you’ll get notified to head to the store
- Confirm you’ve arrived via the app and receive your order
