You’ve read enough about the Chase Sapphire Reserve already, so I won’t go into details about what it offers, how you can get it and that in-branch work around for those over 5/24.
As you might expect, I am way over 5/24 since I apply myself for most cards that I write about on this blog. So the secret on my shiny new CSR is… it’s my father’s. And the best I can do is be an authorized user on the account so I can be cool like all the other bloggers. You can’t tell AU cards apart anyway.
Now the surprising part about today’s delivery. As you can tell, I was super excited to open my father’s mail. I thought this would have been some useless correspondence from Chase but it was actually a Chase Sapphire Reserve card inside. I have seen the pictures and even videos on the unboxing of the CSR so I was let down to say the least. I would have liked to do a “CSR unboxing video” to give my YouTube channel a jump start.
I didn’t have the card expedited, so that can’t be the reason for the missing fancy box. Did Chase get way more applications than expected for the CSR and didn’t make enough fancy boxes? I don’t know the answer, but I will complain.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know not to get your hopes up. Anybody else received a sad envelope instead of the fancy box?
