IHG is giving out gifts of 1,000 points to their members on their birthdays. The only requirement is that you have a birthday set on your IHG account. Apparently lots of people don’t have it set, myself included, since it’s not a requirement during sign up.

To add your birthday

1. Go to Personal Information in your IHG account
2. Scroll all the way to the bottom
3. Add month and date

If it’s already set, to change or modify the birthday of your account, you need to contact your nearest IHG Rewards Club Customer Care Center.
