First Tennessee Bank, $200 Checking Account Bonus

First Tennessee Bank has another offer. You can get a $200 bonus with a new checking account with promo code QCH200. You can open the account online or get a coupon and visit your local branch. The offer is available in a few more states compared to recent offers and available till 5/31/2017. First Tennessee has has bonuses for $250 previously but those are very rare.

Requirements

To earn your bonus, you must complete the following requirements:

Open an Express, Classic, Select, or Premier Checking account
Use promo code QCH200
Have an opening deposit of at least $300
Have at least one direct deposit must post to your account within 60 days

The $200 bonus will be credited to your account within six weeks of the first direct deposit and will be reported as income on Form 1099-INT.

Eligibility

This offer is only available to residents of Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Kentucky. Previous offers were limited to North Carolina and Tennessee so this switch makes it similar to older offers where I was able to also apply from NYC and get the bonus. I haven’t seen any DPs of that working recently so I don’t advise it.
