Disney has revealed that it will soon raise prices for its popular streaming platforms. Price hikes will kick in starting October 17th and will affect monthly and annual plans for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.

Starting mid-October, most plans for Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ will cost $1 to $2 more per month, according to a press release Tuesday. The most expensive plans for Hulu, which include live TV, will cost $6 more per month.

Disney+ subscribers will have to pay $2 more per month for its plans. Disney+ with ads will cost $9.99, up from $7.99. Its ad-free plan will cost $15.99, up from $13.99.

Huluโ€™s ad-supported plan will also increase to $9.99 per month, from $7.99, and its ad-free plan will rise by one dollar to $18.99.

ESPN+, which is the companyโ€™s sports streaming service, will also go up in price by $1 to $11.99 per month.

The Disney Bundle Duo Basic plan, which includes Disney+ and Hulu with ads, will increase to $10.99 a month, up from $9.99. The price for the Duo Premium bundle with no ads is not increasing and will stay at $19.99 a month. It’s not clear if the price for the Triple Bundle will go up, or if it will be offered at all.

Disney+ will add access to ABC News Live and a series of curated playlists serving up content from across the companyโ€™s portfolio beginning September 4th. The first playlist will be focused on preschool-aged audiences, and Disney plans on launching four additional categories: Seasonal, Epic Stories (Marvel and Star Wars fare), Throwbacks (older shows and films), and Real Life (documentaries).

It’s worth noting that the Amex Platinum Card has a $240 Digital Entertainment Credit. That works as $20 in statement credits each month when you use your card for eligible purchases on Disney+, a Disney Bundle, ESPN+, Hulu, The New York Times, Peacock, and The Wall Street Journal when you purchase directly from one or more of the providers. Enrollment is required.
