Delta Cards, Limited-Edition Card Design and New Big Bonuses
American Express and Delta Air Lines today announced the first-ever credit card design made with 25% metal from a retired Delta Boeing 747 aircraft, available exclusively for Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business Card Members for a limited-time.
In addition to the launch of the limited-edition Reserve Card design, starting today new Delta SkyMiles Consumer and Business Gold, Platinum, and Reserve Card Members can earn miles with rich limited-time offers just in time for the return of summer and an uptick in business travel. The following limited-time offers will be available to new Card Members who apply and are approved between June 16, 2022 and August 3, 2022:
Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card
- Card Members earn 70,000 Bonus Miles after spending $2,000 in purchases on their new Card in the first 3 months.
- Annual Fee: $0 intro annual fee for the first year, then $99.
Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card
- Card Members earn 90,000 Bonus Miles after spending $3,000 in purchases on their new Card in the first 3 months.
- Annual Fee: $250
Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card
- Card Members earn 100,000 Bonus Miles (125K possible with a clean browser) after spending $5,000 in purchases on their new Card in the first 3 months.
- Annual Fee: $550
Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card
- Card Members earn 75,000 Bonus Miles (70K plus $200 statement credit possible through dummy booking) after spending $3,000 in purchases on their new Card in the first 3 months.

The new designs for the consumer and business Reserve cards look pretty cool and they’re also made with made with 25% metal from a retired Delta Boeing 747 aircraft. And then there are the signup bonuses to go along with that. These are very good offers, but not the highest we have seen, at least for the Gold cards.
If you plan to apply, you should probably do so from a friend’s or family member’s referral, since these new offers are already showing up on referral links. Also check out the links above with a clean browser, or try a dummy booking, for even better offers. The personal Delta Reserve card for example is showing a 125K bonus, and the Business Gold card a 70K bonus plus $200 statement credit. let me know if you see any other better offers, although applying through a referral with a 30K referral bonus should still be the best option.
