Delta is having an awards sale where you can grab a fare to Mexico and the Caribbean for  11,000 miles one-way plus taxes and fees. You must book through 11:59pm EDT August 17, 2016 to get this rate of 35% off regular Award prices (savings exclude taxes and fees). Travel should be between September 6 through November 16, 2016, so it’s not ideal.

Taxes/fees/carrier-imposed charges depend upon the itinerary, and will range between $30 and $80 one-way for Main Cabin travel from the contiguous 48 United States to Caribbean, and will range between $70 and $130 one-way for Main Cabin travel from the Caribbean to the contiguous 48 United States.

Not the best deal around, but if you have any SkyMiles and are planning a trip to the included destinations, this might be of interest. Comparably, American Airlines charges 12,500 for economy and 25,000 for first one-way on saver tickets off peak.
