Costco has a sweet deal online for Southwest and Alaska Airlines gift cards. You can get a discount of 10% on each brand, for $500 denominations. It gets even better if you have the Point Debit Card since you can also earn 5% cash back.

Guru’s Wrap-up
This is a good deal to lock in savings on future travel with Southwest or Alaska Airlines. But it’s only a good idea to purchase if you know for sure that you will use these gift cards.
As I mentioned above the deal gets better if you use the Point Debit Card. That gives you an extra 5% cash back, for total savings of 14.% on these gift cards.
One thing to keep in mind is that when paying with a gift card, you don’t get the travel protections that some premium credit cards provide.
