Conrad New York Midtown Leaving Hilton in Early June

One of the most popular Hilton properties in New York City will no longer be available to Hilton Honors members. The Conrad New York Midtown is exiting the Hilton portfolio in early June.

Conrad New York Midtown was previously The London NYC, and it joined Hilton in 2017.

It has been rumored for months that the property would exit the Hilton Honors program. And now we have official confirmation and a date for when that will happen. Here’s a statement that Hilton shared with TPG:

“Hilton and hotel ownership have decided to end the management agreement for Conrad New York Midtown effective June 4, 2024 at 11:59PM. The termination is amicable and allows both parties to explore new opportunities. We will work with the hotel’s new management company to ensure a seamless transition for our guests.

We have enjoyed serving guests at Conrad New York Midtown and look forward to continuing to welcome them to our flagship Conrad New York Downtown location, alongside nearly 55 other Hilton properties across New York City, including five new hotels opened across the market throughout 2023.

Any further questions regarding the change in management or property information should be directed to hotel ownership.”

If you check Conrad New York Midtown’s flexible booking calendar, you will see availability well beyond June 4th for now. That goes for awards where you can find Premium and Standard rates (for 95,000 points), as well as cash rates.

But we’re not sure yet what will happen after June4, 2024, so I would probably avoid booking any stays after that date, or at least avoid booking anything else related to that potential stay at the property. It’s possible that it could join the Marriott Bonvoy program, based on a report on FlyerTalk.
