Guru’s Wrap-up
The Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Elite Mastercard usually has an offer of 60,000 bonus miles for new applicant. So this bonus is much better, for a total of 75,000 miles. On top of that, the $99 annual fee is waived for the first year.

Hi, love this blog/site! I wonder if you could clarify whether this includes the CitiBusiness AAdvantage Platinum Select card, or only the personal card? If I got the bonus miles from the business card 6 months ago, am I disqualified from the personal card?
“Statement credit and American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a statement credit or American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles for a new Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months”
Thanks for your expertise!
The 48 month restriction only applies to the same product, the Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® card. The business card bonus you received, doesn’t count towards the 48 months rule here.
Thank you! I was waiting for a better offer on this AA card. Are there any other AA card offers available?
