Transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards to Wyndham Rewards with 30% Bonus

Chase Transfer Bonus for Wyndham Rewards 

Chase added Wyndham Rewards as a transfer partner just over a week ago. And now they are offering the first transfer bonus of 30%. The regular transfer rate is 1:1. So if you transfer 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points during this promotion period, you will receive a total of 1,300 Wyndham Rewards points (1,000 from the transfer, plus 300 Wyndham Rewards bonus points). Even with the added bonus, this is not a good use for Chase points. Check out the details below.

Guru’s Wrap-up

Transferring Chase points to Wyndham is not good value, even with this 30% bonus. After dropping the Vacasa partnership, Wyndham Rewards points are not as valuable as they used to be. They are maybe valued now at 0.8 cents each on average and with this added bonus you get 1.04 cents per point. We value Chase points at 1.6 cents.

If you have any Wyndham stays in mind, then you can check the cash price and compare it to the amount of points you would need to book that same night. In some cases you might be able to extract more value.
