Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select Adds Permanent $180 Turo Credit
The Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard has a new ongoing benefit that could save cardholders up to $180 per year on Turo car rentals.
The benefit was originally introduced in October 2025 as a limited-time promotion scheduled to end October 18, 2026. But Citi and Turo have now removed that expiration date, and the credit is listed as an annual card benefit.
Cardholders can get up to $30 back per eligible Turo rental, with a maximum of $180 in statement credits each calendar year.

This is a nice addition to the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select card, especially now as a permanent benefit.
There’s no minimum rental cost, so even shorter and cheaper rentals will qualify for the full $30 credit.
Just remember that Turo works differently from traditional rental car companies, and credit card rental car insurance generally doesn’t cover Turo rentals. Be sure to check your coverage options before booking.
The credit could also potentially stack with targeted Citi Offers for Turo, making some rentals even cheaper.
The card will receive more credits and perks next year, when the annual fee jumps to $150.
