Capital One has added a new benefit to the Spark Miles business credit card. You can now receive up to $100 credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck when you use your Spark Miles card. The new benefit has only been added on the miles version of the card. It’s not available on the Spark Cash card. You can use this benefit once every four years. It should be available to both new and existing cardholders.

To be eligible for a statement credit you must use your U.S. issued Capital One Spark Miles card on or after May 16, 2019, to either complete the Global Entry application and pay the $100 application fee, or complete the TSA Pre✔® application and pay the $85 application fee. A statement credit will be processed after the Global Entry program application fee OR TSA PreCheck application fee (whichever program is applied for first) is charged to your Capital One Spark Miles card. Application fees charged to a Spark Miles card before May 16, 2019, to a Capital One Spark Miles Select card, any Capital One card that is not a Spark Miles card, or paid for with PayPal are not eligible. You are eligible for either: one (1) $100 statement credit per account, OR one (1) $85 statement credit per account, every 4 years in connection with the Global Entry or TSA Pre✔® program application fee.

Guru’s Wrap-up

A nice added benefit for those who do not have other cards that offer it. I would think that most readers already have a card that does that. It is however a rare occurrence for a card that you can sometimes get without an annual fee, to offer free Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. The card currently has a 50,000 miles bonus, but we have seen much better in the past. It also earns 2x miles on all purchases.
