Capital One Savor Card is one of the best credit card for restaurants. The card was released last year, targeting foodies. It became much better once earning rate at restaurants was increased to 4% and a $500 bonus was added. But there’s also a $95 annual fee which is waived the first year. Now there’s another benefit for those who like their food and groceries delivered.
Capital One Savor Card Postmates Benefit
Use Savor to sign up for monthly Postmates Unlimited, and get your membership fee covered through December 2019. You’ll also earn 4% cash back on those Postmates purchases.
With the Unlimited membership, you get $0 delivery fees on orders over $15. You’ll also never pay blitz pricing or get hit with minimum basket fees. The service costs $9.99 per month, so it adds up to $120 in savings over the year.
This new benefit is for new and existing cardholders through the end of 2019.
- You’ll receive a monthly statement credit of $9.99 through December 2019.
- After that time, unless you cancel your membership, the monthly Postmates Unlimited membership charge will continue to be charged to your Savor card account and you will not receive a statement credit for the amount.
- Offer is not valid with Annual Postmates Unlimited membership ($7.99/month).
Postmates is a delivery service for groceries, alcohol, takeout and almost anything else. They partner with more than 25,000 merchants. They are one of the biggest takeout delivery services, operating in hundreds of cities across the country.
The Postmates Unlimited subscription waives delivery fees for its members on all orders above $15. Members also don’t have to pay blitz pricing, during high-demand periods, or minimum basket fees.
For those who order takeout frequently and live in an area where Postmates is available, the Capital One Savor card becomes more valuable for a year. The card is already pretty useful if you eat out often. You can read more about the Capital One Savor Card here. The only cards with better rates would be the Amex Gold and Amex Business Gold cards if you value Membership rewards points.
