Capital One and Brex Losing JetBlue as Transfer Partner

JetBlue is cutting ties with two point programs, Capital One and Brex Rewards. Later this month, you will no longer be able to transfer from those programs to JetBlue TrueBlue points.

Capital One has sent an email to miles earning cardholders, informing them that JetBlue TrueBlue will no longer be a transfer partner as of 11:59pm ET on 10/24/21.

As for Brex Rewards, a notice on the transfer page notes that JetBlue TrueBlue will no longer be a transfer partner as of 10/25/21.

Transferring miles from Capital One to JetBlue isn’t a particularly good option since the transfer ratio is 1,000 Capital One miles to 750 JetBlue TruBlue points. For Brex the transfer ratio is better, 1:1.

Guru’s Wrap-up

JetBlue wasn’t really the best transfer option for either program since the rate is not great and it uses revenue based award prices. But, losing transfer partners is never a good thing for a rewards program.
